Does JT Cage NEED the Original Hat Guy?

Cage has found himself in the losing column since the partnership

JT Cage is one of the most interesting performers in all of WWWA. From his unique moveset , to his ability to evoke emotion from the crowd, Cage is a force to be reckoned with.

Or is he?

Lately, Cage has used the assistance of The Original Hat Guy. The move seemed to be one that would leap Cage to the front of the line for the heavyweight championship.

Honestly, the thought process around it seemed risky from the beginning. However, seeing what the Hat Guy does for Slayer can be very enticing for a young wrestler.

Hat Guy’s ability to sell a dream is one of his best attributes. And, it seems to be working on Cage, but is it working FOR him?

It seems like ever since JT Cage has partnered for the Hat Guy, things have been going downhill. From being defeated quickly to disrespecting WWWA President Dino Sanna, it seems like Cage is on thin ice.

There have been multiple occasions where Cage has shot himself in the foot during competition. Perhaps the relationship with the Hat Guy is a testament to his troubles.

Should Cage continue working with the Hat Guy? Or, is the relationship getting him further away from his goal of becoming champion?
