Saturday, September 14th will forever be remembered as one of the historic nights in WWWA’s long and prestigious history. Especially for Ryan Clancy.
Clancy made history as he captured WWWA’s first-ever Extreme Championship. He did so by winning a rumble match filled with the top talent that WWWA has to offer in their lockerroom.
Not only did Clancy want to badly win the title, but the fans also wanted the moment. The energy was palpable in the building as the moments winded down towards the end of the match. Each tough display of grit and tenacity made the crowd cheer louder and louder as Clancy got closer towards his goal.
The match featured a host of WWWA’s top talent. Shane Taylor, Ken Andrews, Tyler Symz, JT Cage, Darkstar, Roadblock, Mal Havok, and of course Ryan Clancy.
With all of those top tier names in the promotion, there could only be one winner. Each man fought to the best of their ability, laying it all on the line in front of the sold-out crowd.
Some men chose to team with each other and strategize to get rid of the others. Others stayed engaged and wanted to perform for the crowd. But Clancy found a strategic way to win the match, and the victory was well deserved.
Congratulations to Ryan Clancy on making history and becoming the first-ever World Wide Wrestling Alliance Extreme Champion.
